FAST Heroes 112 is an international educational initiative led by the global Angels Initiative, active in over 20 countries, including Poland. Targeted at children aged 5-9 in schools and preschools, the program is based on the concept of “learning through play.” Through participation, children learn to recognize the key symptoms of stroke, use the emergency number 112, and respond effectively in situations where an adult’s health or life is at risk.

This social campaign is delivered using a range of engaging and visually appealing educational materials, including animations, online games, tutorials, and printed activity books. The program is available on a dedicated website, www.fastheroes.com, and is also active on social media.

Research shows that 54% of people aged 50-64 spend several days a week caring for their grandchildren. By teaching young children, we can spread crucial knowledge to a significant part of society, especially grandparents who are most vulnerable to strokes. This can help prevent catastrophic consequences and save lives.

As part of this program, we collaborate with a wide range of experts in education and medicine, as well as representatives of teachers’ organizations and scientific societies. The program has been endorsed by the Minister of Education and recommended by several regional educational authorities. So far, over half a million children globally have participated in the FAST Heroes 112 program, including tens of thousands in Poland.

We are proud to be part of an international team whose mission is to change the world through the small but powerful steps of our young superheroes!
